Hatch: The Works

Saturday, Dec 3, 2016, Stevie Oakes and I took our work-in-process duet, "Straight Jacket," (premiered at the Rochester Fringe Festival and created at The College at Brockport, SUNY) to New York City to perform at Jennifer Muller's space in Chelsea. It was a delight share this new work with NYC audiences. In the post-performance discussion, we were asked about the "meaning' of the platform, the design of our costumes, and the nature of our relationship in the work. We received the most valuable feedback from choreographer and educator Christian Von Howard (Montclair U) over a glass of wine post-performance. Stevie and I look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of our work and perform future iterations of the duet.
